Site

History

I hate to say this but I started my web designing travel on piczo. I had many sites there with ridiculous site names and blinking glitter graphics with information on my mates and me.
I soon came across html and started to code my site and it started to look less tacky. I then started to make my own graphics using gimp but I felt restricted so I asked my Dad if I could get Paint Shop Pro and so he got it from his work! Things just fall into his bag… My layouts became better and then I found out about freewebs, which helped with my coding a lot! I only had been on freewebs for a few weeks but I didn’t really like it much so I searched for a sub-domain but no one had any space so I asked my Dad for a domain and he agreed to buy me one.
I started with Sketched-Ending.Net but my host closed down because she couldn’t afford it anymore. So I was missing for a few weeks until I found a new host and I got a new domain, Echo-Park.Net! And here I am now!

The Name

My first domain was Sketched-Ending.Net. There isn’t really a meaning behind this name, I picked out a few good names and put them together. This one sounded the best!
Echo-Park.Net Once again I got a list of good site names but I wasn’t completely happy with any of them. I was listening to Feeder when I was walking home from school and the album was Echo Park. Then I had the brilliant idea of calling this site Echo Park!
